AGRO’NOVAE is a food-processing company created in 1986 which has obtained the « Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant » (Living Heritage Company) label. Located in Provence, near Marseilles, the manufacture is specialised in fruit transformation.
Created in 1986 and known under its brand " Les Comtes de Provence " and " Les Confituriers de Haute Provence ", the company manufactures culinary fruit-based specialities like jams, compotes, chutneys, culinary preserves and desserts of fruits commercialized in France and in about twenty countries worldwide (in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia).
The method developed by the company is original (specific machines) and has resulted in its being awarded an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) Label by the French government. The human part is privileged on machines for cooking which enables the company to be classified as a manufacture. Jam is cooked in open cauldrons with chosen ingredients, in right quantities. We use either conventional or organic fruit from Mediterranean countries and pure cane sugar. All the phases of filling are mechanized.
A third of the production is realized with natural organic ingredients.
The company was certified living heritage company because of the specificity of its representative industrial process of the French know-how. It is certified in standard ISO 22000 relative to the quality and to the food safety, to its highest degree FSSC 22000. It possesses Organic Certifications (France, Europe and North America) delivered by ECOCERT For its export sales, the company is fully qualified teacher AEO ( Approved Economic Operator) by the customs services. AGRO' NOVAE is also a member of the network BPI excellence. The products of the company received numerous distinctions and medals in food competitions in France and abroad: “Concours Général Agricole” in Paris, Great Taste Awards of London, Dalemain marmalade festival.etc.
One day a week, the factory shows workshops and the manufacturing of its jams within the framework of industrial economic tourism. Recognized as a tourist attraction of “Route de Saveurs et des Senteurs” of Haute-Provence, its visits of factory was certified Quality Tourism in 2014.
