| Strawberry, cherry and almond jam |
Ingredients:
Wash the strawberries and cherries. Cut the strawberries in chunks and stone the cherries. Cook on medium heat with the sugar and the lemon juice until the chunks of strawberries have melted. Add the pectin which has first been mixed with hot water, and cook for around 5 min on a low heat, adding the flaked almonds when cooking is finished. Pour the still hot preparation into sterilized (around 15 minutes in boiling water) glass jars with hermetic lids and close immediately. |
