Strawberry and mint jam
Ingredients:
  • 250g strawberries
  • 200g sugar
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1.7g pectin
  • 7.5g fresh mint
Preparation:

Wash
and remove stalks from strawberries, and cut them into chunks. Snip the fresh mint with scissors.
Cook the strawberries on medium heat with the sugar and the lemon juice until the pieces of strawberry have melted. Add the pectin which has first been mixed with hot water, and cook for around 5 min on a low heat. Add the mint and stir.
Pour the still hot preparation into sterilized (around 15 minutes in boiling water) glass jars with hermetic lids and close immediately.
