| Onion preserve |
Ingredients:
Cut the onion into thick slices and brown gently in the olive oil. Add the sugar, the lemon juice, vinegar and honey and cook on a low hear until the sugar dissolves. Then add the peeled apples cut into pieces, with the white wine, thyme and the raisins. Add salt and pepper. Simmer until the onions have melted. Pour the still hot preparation into sterilized (around 15 minutes in boiling water) glass jars with hermetic lids and close immediately. |
