Soft sweet and sour orange cake
Ingredients:
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 dl milk
  • 250 g sifted flour
  • ½ sachet baking soda
  • 200g Comtes de Provence sweet and sour Orange jam
  • 2 tablespoons Rum or Cointreau
Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 150°C, thermostat 5.
Whisk the eggs and the sugar with an electric beater. Add the melted butter, milk, flour and baking soda. Pour into a deep buttered baking tin. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Turn out the cake. Mix the jam and chosen alcohol and pour over the cake!
